I went to all the classes about the disease and also started walking my dog every day. Then I found the Community Strong partner, Curves, and have been going there 5 days a week for the past 7 years. I have lost 85 lbs and have kept it off so far. My diabetes is under control, no pills or insulin so far. Diet and exercise is keeping me alive!”
