Tell us a little bit about yourself (where you work, hobbies, background).
I’m currently the Marketing Director at Baue Funeral Homes. My background was in event planning and food/beverage management at a private, family-owned country club and I never thought I would work for a funeral home. I’ve been blessed to work here for 4.5 years and am now a licensed funeral director.
Tell us a little bit about your family (spouse, children, grandchildren, pets, etc).
My husband I were have just made it through our first year and half of marriage – success! We have a very spoiled dog, Banner, that we treat more like a baby.
Tell us some fun facts about yourself.
My husband and I went to the same preschool and were both baptized as babies in the same church we were married in.
I’ve been golfing since I was 8.
Currently in 1st place in my co-ed fantasy football league.

Creamy, almond butter.
What is your dream vacation destination?
Europe – as many places as possible, but not the super touristy spots. Focusing on cheese, pasta, wine, scenery, and beaches. We will walk most places so that’s how I’ll counteract my calorie-intake.
What is your favorite sports team?
Kansas City Chiefs, Super Bowl Champs
What your favorite book?
Way too indecisive for that one 😊
What your favorite movie or TV show?
Favorites are hard for me! I can always re-watch The Office, Parks & Rec, Schitt’s Creek, and Friday Night Lights (tv show, not the movie!)

How do you partner with Community Strong?
CRUSH Coalition, connect Baue to CS sponsorship opportunities (Stomp Out Stigma, Teen Drug Summit) and educational programming resources specific to trauma, grief support, etc.
Why is it important to you to partner with Community Strong?
Beyond the professional need that I see through struggling families at the funeral home, this is the community where my husband and I plan to raise our children.
How do you hope to impact St. Charles County through your partnership with Community Strong?
Connect families and individuals with the resources they didn’t realize were available or maybe didn’t realize they needed.
What have you learned about yourself through partnering with Community Strong?
We have an amazing network of peers and collaborative resources in our community. My Community Strong partnership has allowed me to see the value that I can contribute to that group through my unique career background. A positive mindset can make all the difference.
