CSWW Application Glossary acts a reference guide to the Application for the Healthy Workplace Award.  It is designed to clarify any concepts or terms listed in the Application for the Healthy Workplace Award, offer an explanation of each concept, and explain why we included these specific criteria while offering the empirical evidence that supports the suggested workplace changes and interventions.

 

Update 9.15.20
We have recently updated the application so that the criterion regarding completing/administering the CSWW surveys is no longer required. However there are several reasons (below) for completing this if it is within your capacity to do so. If you wish to be eligible for The Healthy Workplace Award’s Special Commendations or to Participate in the CSWW Certification Support Program you must begin the survey process by October 8th, 2020. Reason 1:

Complete Criterion to participate in the CSWW Certification Support Program.

As a Program Participant, not only do you have an exclusive opportunity to receive special commendations on your Healthy Workplace Award, but you will also receive the CSWW Action Team’s:

  • Flexible Application/Toolkit and Workplace Wellness Program Support
  • Post-survey insights and program recommendations
  • Invites each month to an optional Zoom video conference- to provide program feedback, share thoughts and questions regarding your wellness program.

Reason 2:

Complete Criterion to be eligible for the Special Commendations on your Healthy Workplace Award
The 2021 Healthy Workplace Awards and Special Commendations will be presented at the Community Strong Workplace Wellness Summit in March of 2021.

Commendations will include:

  •  The Commissioners Award
    Overall most improved health indicators from survey results
  • The Innovation Award
    Most innovative workplace wellness changes (based on answers in the end-of-cycle employer survey)
  • The Great Rivers Workflow Award
    Mindset and Mental health emphasis (based on employee survey results)
  • The Common Fields Award
    Nutrition emphasis (based on employee survey results)
  • The Fox Trotter award
    Fitness/movement emphasis (based on employee survey results)
